So Much To Tell

So much has happened since I last put anything on here. Hannah is getting very big. She was 17lbs at her last appointment. I feel it when I carry her around. She is starting to laugh at the antics of Sidney the dog. There is nothing more precious than a baby laughing.
Hannah has been rolling over for a little while now and she is very good at it. She goes from back to front and over again to her back. She is across the room before you know it. She even tries to scoot her knees up under her. Crawling will happen early I think.
A few weeks ago she got her first two teeth. She weathered that pretty well only to get her first cold right after. That stuffy little nose was not any fun at all. The nights I slept right on through are gone. We are back to waking up at least once a night.
The latest discovery was her feet. She has found that they are fun to play with and put in her mouth. Diaper changing to fun with her holding both feet in her hands.
Her personality is very curious. She wants to look at everything and watches people. She inspects grandpa's whiskers and zeros in on my hair. Her little hands are very strong when she decides to grab on to something.
I have been feeding her some mashed sweet potatoes. She would sit on my lap as I age and watch the food go to my mouth. She has taken to eating especially when she sees someone else doing it. She even puts my water jug straw in her mouth. She hasn't figured out how it works, but I'm sure it won't be long.

My sweet little Hannah is full of smiles these days. She even squeals and coos at me. I have so much fun just sitting and watching her and talking to her. She is getting so big now. She was two months on the first and she is over 13 pounds. She is outgrowing her clothes so fast. I'm enjoying the warm summer days walking with the stroller. Hannah has such a following around town now. We get spotted all the time. She even gets admired by complete strangers. Who can blame them, she is so marvellously cute.

These are of the cute dress Grandma Watson made for Hannah. She looks so cute in it. It's like she was transported from another time with the little bonnet on. She has been given so many wonderful handmade items from friends and family. I couldn't possibly post them all. They will be treasured and kept for her when she is older. I can see her dressing her little dolls and her own baby girl in this dress.

Tour Continued....

This is the changing table that my dad fabricated to fit on top of Adam's old dresser. He did such a good job on it. The colors match up perfectly. It has two areas. One for the changing pad and the other to hold all the diapers, wipes, and other items I think I need. I use it all the time and it is wonderfully made. We will see how many Watson babies get to use it.

A Tour of Hannah's Room

This is a picture that is hanging on the wall in Hannah's room. It is a baby blanket that I crocheted several years back. Even before I started to date Adam. Since it is nice and white I didn't want to use it as a blanket. I had my Dad make a frame and mount it so I can hang it on the wall. It takes up most of one wall in her room. The Angel can watch over her as she sleeps at night. Hannah loves to look at the colors on the frame since it is just over her changing table.

Here is my little Hannah with a big smile. She is keeping me very busy. She dosen't let me get on the computer very often. Everyone comments on how big she is getting. I weighted her a week ago and she was at least 12.5 lbs. I'm sure she is more now. Eating is one of her favorite things to do. She also loves to go for a ride in her stroller and visit the people at the bank and post office. Lately she has really be into looking at things. We have put her in a bouncy seat with a viewing window that has a spinning starfish. She smiles and coo's at it and kicks her feet. Now maybe I can get some housework done.

Now she will be two weeks tomorrow and I'm treasuring every moment. She was 7lb 14.6oz at birth and was already 8lb 10oz at 12 days. She is growing like a weed already.
