We have been having a lot of fun lately. Last month Hannah, my Mom and I rode Amtrak up to Spokane to visit Mark, Tanzy, Logen and Xander. We enjoyed the ride and Hannah did very well. We spent time playing, enjoying the company and eating blueberries. Hannah enjoyed playing on the slides at the park with her cousin Logen. She is a great fan of slides so far. We are not so sure of the swing. On our trip home Logen and Xander came back with us on the train. They helped entertain Hannah and loved it when the train went through a tunnel. We were glad to get home and had a whole week to spend with Logen and Xander.
The following week Hannah got to go the Grandma and Grandpa to pick up 50 Chicks from the feed store. She loves to watch them scurry around in their pen. They added another 50 the following week in the second enclosure. Hannah then lost her Chickie viewing spot where she could through shredded paper over into the occupied pen. Mom got to fish all the paper out of the water dish when she got finished. We go visit the Chickie's often and watch them grow. Some day Hannah will be chasing them around in the yard.
Hannah is getting so close to walking. She will take a few steps on her own so far. She loves to hold a hand and cruise around the house or store or outside. Dad is a good walking partner while Mom is cooking dinner.
The plastic eggs of Easter were a wonderful new toy. I had to quickly remove all the bells I put in them when I saw that she could easily get them open. Opening the eggs has been a favorite activity. She is not deterred when they are empty. She just tosses it aside and reaches for a new one. We may still have plastic eggs around when Christmas comes around.
We are loving the nice weather we have been blessed with lately. We get out the stroller and go out through the neighborhood and down to the park, then across town to the post office and back up to our house. It is quite a walk and Hannah usually catches a nap along the way, but it is wonderful to be out in the sunshine. We now have a little wading pool to put out in the yard. It has some toys that will float and we are looking for a good time to go out and play. Yeah for the coming summer and beautiful blue sky.

I'm back by popular demand. Here are a few new pictures of our sweet little girl. She is sporting her Santa suit on Christmas. She had a wonderful time playing with the wrapping paper and new gifts.
Hannah is getting so big. She is going to be 10 months old in one week. Boy time flies. She is getting to be a little toddler now. She is getting very good at standing up for longer periods of time. She will be walking before I know it. Here teeth are coming in nicely as you can see. She now has 5 teeth and she is getting good at using them. "Don't bite Mommy!"
I am taking her to a swim class at the Aquatic Center. She has such a good time. She may be the youngest in the class but she is very enthusiastic. She kicks her feet, splashes her hands, and chases(with my help) a little floating toy around the pool. They hold our class in the warm pool, Yeah!. We are looking forward to our next class.
Hannah is learning all kinds of new things. She can clap, mimic faces, and best of all, she waves at people.
I have to keep a close eye on her, because she is on themove all the time. She crawls quite a ways if she wants to. If I'm not watching she is off into the other room in no time. Hannah loves to pull things off the shelves. She has to two bottom shelves on the bookcase. I am forever stacking her books, movies and stuffed animals back on the shelves.
